Jake Currie’s landscaping journey began over two decades ago with a beat-up truck and a few lawnmowers that probably saw more action in a small engine repair than in a yard. Through sheer hard work and an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction (and maybe a little elbow grease), his small yard maintenance business blossomed. 

As demand grew, so did the scope of his services, proving that even the most overgrown lawns can be tamed. Recognizing the potential for larger projects, Jake embarked on an intensive learning period, determined to transform from lawnmower maestro to landscaping maestro. 

In 2004, Ryan started his own company, after spending a few years training in paving stones and retaining walls. Jake and Ryan shared a lot of job sites and equipment for a couple of years. This partnership proved fruitful, and two years later, Jake and Ryan united their talents to form The Landscaping Company Inc., A company destined to become the talk of the town (or at least the talk of their friends). 

Today, The Landscaping Company is a respected name among Edmonton’s landscape contractors, specializing in residential design-build projects.
